Since becoming travel agents with Goldrush Getaways, my husband and I are "vacationing daily" either literally - through our own travels - or vicariously - through the amazing vacation packages we plan for our clients. Who knew the "average american" could experience the world's offerings without having to win the lottery? We have personally, in the past three years, been to China; Africa; on a two-week oceania cruise to the Amazon; on a ten day Southern Caribbean cruise on Disney; and are leaving on Dec. 7 For a Christmas Market River Cruise - all trips at a fraction of the retail price! The people at Goldrush (particularly Janis Green) have been so willing to teach me the "ins and outs" of the travel business and to provide learning experience with all the travel vendors through their seminars - I have a new outlet for my passion for traveling the world!!! Our family has enjoyed multiple fine times on the high seas because of this organization and we look forward to many more. All presentations we've attended have been very informative and have enriched our cruising and ground travel experiences. The friendly staff have been very responsive to our needs, both in planning our "getaways" and while "on the road". My name is Terry Fitzsimmons, I am a member of Goldrush Getaways. I recently was on vacation in Hawaii with my wife and two daughters. Both airlines (Aloha, ATA) we were using went bankrupt leaving us stranded at the airport in Maui. We were in the process of returning home (LAX). We frantically tried other airlines for flights that day only to find out there were no room for us. The only flights we could find were two weeks out. With no flights and no place to stay I then decided to call Goldrush Ontario office for help. Deidre and Melonie helped us find a flight with only a five day wait and a place to stay near the airport. My thanks goes to these two wonderful ladies for all their help.

I had a problem with a re-booking of a Viking Cruise for my customers. There was a penalty on an E check rebate they received when paying by check instead of credit card. It made no sense at all that there would be a penalty on something they never paid, but was a credit. I tried to solve it myself with Viking but got nowhere. It took a few months, but Tracy Bettencourt worked very hard to remedy the problem through Viking representatives. She made me and my clients very happy and I am very grateful for all her hard work.

Our first year with Goldrush Getaways has been all that we had hoped it would be. We've had some great trips and are looking forward to more adventures at good prices. Thanks for all your assistance this year.

I used Goldrush Getaways to take a river cruise on the Rhine in June 2010. They facilitated all of the travel arrangements including Air travel and a pre-cruise visit to Austria while going to see the Passion Play which is performed every 10 years.

Everyone at Goldrush Getaways are polite, professional, and are very helpful in making sure the vacation is perfect in every way. I will have Goldrush Getaways arrange all of my travel experiences.

My wife and I have been members of Goldrush Getaways for several years and find it very valuable. We act as travel agents for our family and friends. I will also book travel for anyone, which Goldrush lets me do. It is a low cost way to be a travel agent. There are many other companies wanting to sign up independent travel agents, but most have a high monthly fee. If you want to set up an independent agency, you can and Goldrush is a good place to start and learning.

We travel about three months out of the year and Goldrush Getaways gives us the ability to do this and save by knowing the best deals and learning about different vendors. If you don't want to travel it is not a good deal.
